Make Riven or some of the other Myst titles and I will buy it and give 5 stars.....I am betting on the rest of the world buying it as well. I know it!

this is the funnest game ive played in my life i used to play myst when i was 6 this game rules :)

I play this with my friends in class but on a smart board but we play myst4 AWESOME GAME!!!!!!!!!

Love the game, graphics, music. Would be really sweet if you could render it into a 3D environment, something like "Rooms" or Unreal Engine 3.

Some bad moments

I understand how the makers of this app need compensation for the work they have done to build this fantastic game. However, constantly bombarding the free app gamer with adds and pop ups saying buy the full version are truly disrupting the enjoyment of the game all together. I suggest the makers of this game decrease the annoying adds and remarks about how privileged the free app user is to play this for free or simply dont make this a free app. This is being deleted by me and I have no intention on downloading the full version. Good luck with decreasing the adds and snarky remarks and promoting your game instead.

I own an ipad, and I enjoy playing games on it from time to time, but was unsure of this game would look, so I downloaded this instead to check it out. The adds inside being shoved down my throat the SECOND I open up the game, and not even that but wrecking the visuals themselves by shoddy add placement overlapping the screen. I cant even get a proper demo, and its off putting enough on its own to change my entire mind about buying this game. This is insulting.

How can you preview a game to see if you want to purchase it, when 1/2 the screen is covered in adds you cant remove? This is a visual clue search game where you cant find the clues behind the adds... Ridiculous. I had the original years ago but cant tell if I would like this app by an unplayable demo... A sale lost

I was a huge fan of Myst and all of its sequels when they were out for the PC. I was very excited when I saw that it had been made available as an app, but after downloading the demo I have to say I am a bit disappointed. One of the best things about the original game was the beauty of its artwork. In order to accommodate the iPhones smaller screen size, the graphics resolution suffered greatly on the iPad. I would be more than willing to pay for a version that made use of the iPads larger screen size and graphics capabilities (maybe even the PC re-release version that replaced the series of still screens with 360 degree viewing). Until then, I just cant get past the poor graphics quality enough to spend money on the game (or Riven for that matter).

I just downloaded Myst on my iPod to see how it compares to the original version from the 90s. Unfortunately it is so very small and dark on my iPod that I cannot see enough detail in order to play it. This game would benefit greatly from the larger screen and the zoom feature of an iPad. (The iPhone screenshots on this page are larger than an actual iPod screen and show better detail.) Even though I played this game many years ago and loved it, it is much too small and dark for me to be able to play it now. What a disappointment. I hope that there are plans to make it for the iPad. If a version is made for the iPad, then I will gladly give it more stars.
